Relax in the inviting atmosphere of The Buffalo Lounge, which is the ideal space for afternoon tea or some casual dining.
Whether warming yourself by the crackling fireplace in winter or enjoying the lush garden view from the double doors in summer, you can enjoy a dining experience in a setting that feels like home.
Afternoon tea
Enjoy a catch up with friends over a traditional afternoon tea in our lounge or restaurant. Indulge in a selection of finger cut sandwiches, freshly-baked scones with whipped cream and jam and delicious pastries. Choose from a selection of teas or coffees to accompany your food, or add in some sparkle with some prosecco frizzante.
You may request our conservatory for a private afternoon tea experience. This is strictly subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
Private Dining, Group Dining & Special Occasions
Enjoy our delicious food and friendly service in your own private space, ensuring a memorable experience every time.
For large groups we offer Cobden’s Function Room, which is just off of our dining room, and we can accommodate between 60-120 diners.
For smaller groups of up to thirty-six guests, Darcy’s is the perfect space for that more intimate gathering.
For groups of over twelve, check out our group dinner menus or buffet menu below for a more casual option.
If you want to enjoy a celebration in the setting of our beautiful mature gardens, our barbeque menu has delicious options.
Dining Options & Reservations
- Breakfast - Served daily from 7:30am to 10am. Non-residents, please ensure advance booking.
- Lunch - Available to all from Thursday to Sunday, 12-3pm. Advance booking is recommended, though we do accommodate walk-ins where possible.
- Afternoon Tea - Offered from Thursday to Saturday. Advance booking is essential.
- Dinner - Embark on a culinary journey with us every evening from 5pm to 9pm. It's recommended to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
- Children's Menu - If you are bringing along some younger dinner guests,we have a specially selected children's menu sure to cater to picky eaters.
- Wine Menu - Our carefully selected wines can be viewed on our wine list. Our by-the-glass wine is featured on our drinks menu which will be available in the restaurant.

What are the opening hours of the bar at Raheen House Hotel?
Please note that our bars are not open to the general public, and are only for the use of dining guests, guests attending a wedding or function, or hotel residents.
The Buffalo Bar is open from 12 noon each day and closes at 11:30pm (23h30) Sunday to Thursday, and 12:30am (00h30) on Friday and Saturday.
The bar in Cobden’s Function Room is only open if there are diners in the room, or if there is a function or other event taking place.
For weddings and other functions: bar extensions are required for service outside of these hours, except for residents.
